Rotary cultivator is a kind of tillage machine which is matched with tractor to complete tillage and harrowing operation. It has been widely used because of its strong soil crushing ability and flat surface after tillage. Correct use and adjustment of rotary cultivator is very important to maintain its good technical state and ensure farming quality. The correct use and adjustment technology of rotary cultivator is introduced as follows:

1、 Use of rotary cultivator

1. At the beginning of the operation, the rotary cultivator shall be in the lifting state, first combine the power take-off shaft to increase the speed of the knife shaft to the rated speed, and then lower the rotary cultivator to gradually bury the blade to the required depth. It is strictly forbidden to combine the power take-off shaft or sharply lower the rotary cultivator after the blade is embedded in the soil, so as to avoid bending or breaking the blade and increasing the load of the tractor.

2. During the operation, it shall be carried out at a low speed as far as possible, which can not only ensure the operation quality, make the soil blocks finely broken, but also reduce the wear of machine parts. Pay attention to whether the rotary cultivator has noise or metal knocking sound, and observe the broken soil and tillage depth. In case of any abnormality, stop the machine immediately for inspection, and continue the operation after troubleshooting.

3. When turning on the ground, it is forbidden to operate. Lift the rotary cultivator to keep the blade off the ground, and reduce the tractor throttle to avoid damaging the blade. When lifting the rotary cultivator, the inclination angle of the universal joint shall be less than 30 degrees. If it is too large, it will produce impact noise and cause premature wear or damage.

4. When reversing, crossing ridges and transferring plots, lift the rotary cultivator to the position and cut off the power to avoid damaging the parts. If it is transferred to a distance, the rotary cultivator shall be fixed with a locking device.

5. After each shift, the rotary cultivator shall be maintained. Remove the soil and weeds on the blade, check the fastening of each connector, add lubricating oil to each lubricating oil point, and add butter to the universal joint to prevent aggravating wear.

2、 Adjustment of rotary cultivator

1. Left and right horizontal adjustment. First stop the tractor with rotary cultivator on the flat ground, lower the rotary cultivator so that the blade is 5cm away from the ground, and observe whether the height of the left and right blade tips from the ground is consistent, so as to ensure that the blade axis is consistent and the tillage depth is uniform during operation.

2. Front and rear horizontal adjustment. When the rotary cultivator is lowered to the required tillage depth, observe whether the included angle of the universal joint and the first shaft of the rotary cultivator are close to the horizontal position. If the included angle of the universal joint is too large, the upper pull rod can be adjusted to make the rotary cultivator in a horizontal position.

3. Lift height adjustment. In rotary tillage operation, the included angle of universal joint shall not be greater than 10 degrees, and it shall not be greater than 30 degrees when turning on the ground. Therefore, for the lifting of rotary cultivator, the limit screw can be screwed at the appropriate position of the handle for the use of position adjustment; If height adjustment is used, special attention shall be paid during lifting. If the rotary cultivator needs to be raised again, the power of the universal joint shall be cut off.
